This picture is from the first snow storm of the season back in October. It was Asher's first time really experiencing and enjoying the snow. The second snowstorm of the season, which I think was in early November, Asher was really excited about as well. We had been in Orem all day where they had gotten just a bit of snow, but when we got home at about 8pm we found at least a foot of snow in our yard. He insisted when we got inside that I put on his new snowpants (thanks Sammy) and boots and go out and play.
I'm glad Asher likes the snow (I guess most kids probably do). It is snowing pretty hard this morning and instead of staying in all day like we would have done last year (especially without a car) we will probably spend an hour or two outside experiencing snow. I think this winter is going to about 10,000 times better than last winter. It will.

Look at those blue eyes! He is getting so big! Love his cute gray sweater! Hopefully we will be coming down to SLC and come and visit!

He really does look excited in that snow photo.
Sonora liked sledding last year, but she would get fairly quickly bored with snow. I hope it will hold her attention longer this year, that is, if we get any snow. It's supposed to get very cold in the next week; maybe we'll also get some moisture, for which we will be grateful.
