Talking and Reading

Here is a list of words Asher says frequently: Truck, car, rock, tree, mom, dada, cat, dog, toy, choo choo train, help, chair, nurse, night night, num nums, cup, cow, duck, shoe, sock, coat, hot, cold, yuck, and caca. But his favorite word seems to be loodle-loodle-loodle... reapeated over and over. Granted, many of these words are deciferable only by me, but he knows what he is talking about. It is fun to see his brain processing data like when I am trying to keep him from running crazy in DI and I say "should we go look at the TOYS?" He stops whatever he is doing to make a quick decision that yes, we should in fact go look at the toys, and he comes right back to me.



He has been really obsessed with books lately. When we are home that is all he wants to do. He will grab a book out of his book bin, come over to me wherever I am, grab my hand, and pull me over to the couch. This is irresistible and he must know it. Here he is reading with his grandma.
