Asher's personality seems to be growing bigger every day. He is starting to realize what he wants from life and go after it. I think he is definitely going to be a take-matters-into-his-own-hands kind of guy. For instance, he wants to be tickled a lot. He doesn't wait around for someone to tickle him, he just walks around the house tickling himself and saying tickatickatickaticka. Another example, he likes to be outside a lot. He locates shoes, coats, hats, and car keys, brings them to me, helps me put my items on, and then impatiently waits at the door for it to be opened for him. And one more example, for good measure, he doesn't like to stay in certain places very long. When he is ready to leave someone's presence he just says "buh-bye so-and-so" in this sappy little voice, as if he is trying to be nice about the fact that he doesn't really want to be around that person anymore. He finds the door, and I'm sure, would let himself out if he could.

I would like to thank you Carrie, thank you for letting me watch Ash!! I think we got some bonding in, and I don't think there's anything in this world that is better than feeling like I've earned Asher's trust. :) Make him practice my name, "Cham," every hour on the hour until you get so sick of it that you have to let me babysit him again.
